A Danish brand with heritage
1976 was the year where Elvstrøm Sails
moved its activities across Denmark
to Aabenraa. The move happened after
Paul Elvstrøm sold his majority stake in
the company to Fogh Sails. Fogh Sails
continued production under their own
name until 1979, where they brought back
the Elvstrøm Sails name – in Aabenraa,
the city in which Elvstrøm Sails still has its
headquarters today.
